Samsung Fire in men’s professional volleyball defeated KB Insurance to move into second place.
Samsung Fire won the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League Men’s Division match against KB Insurance 3-0 (25-21 25-21 25-22) in straight sets at Uijeongbu Gymnasium on Nov. 19.
With the win, Samsung Fire (12-5, 31 points) leapfrogged 현금홀덤사이트 Korean Air (10-6, 31 points) into second place. They have the same number of points but are ahead on goal difference.
Mired in a two-game losing streak, KB Insurance (3 W, 14 L, 14 P) failed to escape last place.
Samsung Fire’s Yosubani led the offense. He exploded for 31 points alone with a 65.00% offensive success rate.
KB Insurance had 20 points from Biena and 12 points from Hwang Kyung-min, but fell short in the match.
Down 9-6 in the first set, Samsung Fire maintained a three-point lead (18-15) thanks to kills from Yosubani and Kim Jun-woo.
Samsung Fire reached the 20-point mark with a kill by Bumshil and a service ace by Yosubani, and reached set point with back-to-back kills by Yosubani and Shin Chang-ho and a staggered attack by Kim Jung-ho. Yosubani then completed the 25th point with a staggered attack.
Samsung Fire continued its upward trend in the second set and never relinquished the lead thanks to Yosvani’s unstoppable scoring arsenal.

With the win, IBK (9 W, 8 L, 26 points) jumped one spot from fifth to fourth place.
Bottom-ranked Pepper Savings Bank could not escape the tunnel of another long losing streak as it suffered its 10th straight defeat.
IBK Abecrombie scored the most points for both teams with 22 points.
For Pepper Savings Bank, Park Eun-seo had 13 points and Park Jung-ah had 11 points.
IBK led from the start of the match. They took the first set thanks to Abecrombie, who exploded for nine points in the first set.
