Triple M Sydney’s has today announced its new breakfast line-up for 2025, with former NRL player turned TV presenter Beau Ryan set to make his breakfast radio debut.
He’ll host Triple M Sydney’s morning slot from Monday Jaunary 2025 alongside news presenter Natarsha Belling and former West Tigers Captain Aaron Woods, the trio forming an all-new show called Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Tarsh & Woodsy.
Ryan’s appointment to the role was widely rumoured in recent days and, as news.com.au’s Annette Sharp noted last week, it would see “a first-time breakfast radio host, tested in the nation’s toughest market and against seasoned performers such as WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda, KIIS’s Kyle & Jackie O and 2GB’s Ben Fordham.”
The new line-up announcement comes after NRL legend Mark ‘MG’ Geyer was sensationally axed from his Triple M breakfast radio show last week.
The NSW State of Origin star joined Triple M in 2009 추천 and was a co-host of Sydney’s popular Mick & MG in the Morning show
Fellow co-host Mick Molloy is set to depart the show and return to Melbourne next year where he’ll host Triple M Melbourne’s breakfast show next year alongside Nick Riewoldt, Titus O’Reily and Rosie Walton.
The show will be called Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus & Rosie, and will also launch on January 20 next year.
Geyer, 56, was absent from the show after his axing, with Molloy, Cat Lynch and Natarsha Belling making no mention of his whereabouts.
News of Geyer being axed was first reported by The Daily Telegraph with his departure following in the wake of several on-air talents being let go.
SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, thanked Geyer for his services in a statement announcing the new line-up today.
“We wish to thank MG for his incredible 17-year contribution to Triple M across many shows and NRL calls. We sincerely hope he will be a part of the Triple M family again at some stage in the future, and we wish him all the best.”
Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Tarsh & Woodsy kicks off on January 20, 2025, from 6-9am weekdays on 104.9 Triple M Sydney and LiSTNR.
