K-pop girl group DREAMCATCHER brings both good and bad news to fans with its latest update. The good news: It has returned with a fresh album. The bad news: It’s temporarily operating as a six-member ensemble due to Siyeon’s health-related hiatus.

The group’s agency, Dreamcatcher Company, said in a press release on July 5 that Siyeon, the group’s vocalist, would be halting her upcoming activities.

According to the label, “Siyeon recently visited the hospital due to symptoms of poor health and anxiety, and the medical staff advised 대표하는 that she needs sufficient rest and stability … After thorough discussions with Siyeon, it was decided that she would focus on her recovery.”

Despite the abrupt roster change, DREAMCATCHER is all set to captivate fans with its new release, “VirtuouS,” with its members transforming into justice-driven heroes.

This latest work, released Wednesday, is the group’s 10th mini-album and comes as it celebrates its seventh year in the music industry. The agency said the remaining six members will promote the album, continuing to showcase their dynamic performances and storytelling.
