You left out Heung-min Son, the fixer-upper…8 nominees for Player of the Year

Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son, who has scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in the English Premier League (EPL) this season, was not among the nominees for the Player of the Year award.

The EPL announced the nominees for the Player, Manager and Young Player of the Year awards 스포츠토토 on its website and social media accounts on Tuesday.

Son Heung-min was not among the eight nominees for the Player of the Year award. Son has been the captain, signature player, and fixer-upper for Tottenham this season in the absence of star Harry Kane, racking up 26 offensive points. He finished seventh in goals and sixth in assists, both of which ranked in the top 10, but was left off the list of players of the year.

Most of the nominees were from teams that finished at the top of the league standings this season. They include Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Elling Holland, Arsenal’s Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.

The list also includes Cole Palmer (Chelsea), who is second on the list with 21 goals this season, and Aleksander Isak (Newcastle), who has 20. Holland, Foden, Palmer, and Isaac are also on the shortlist for the Young Player of the Year award.

The other Young Player nominees are Kobi Mainu (Manchester United), Xherdan Shaqiri (Newcastle United), Victor Moses (Arsenal), William Saliba (Arsenal) and Destiny Udogie (Tottenham).

In the Manager of the Year category, Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth), and Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool) were selected.

The winners of each category, which are determined by a combination of expert and fan votes, will be revealed on April 18th. Fan voting will be open until May 13 on the EA Sports homepage.
