Kevin Na, tied for second place, one stroke behind on the first day of LIV Golf Singapore

Korean Kevin Na (USA) tied for second place, one stroke behind the leader, on the first day of the LIV Golf Singapore Tournament.

Kevin Na made 6 birdies and hit 5 under par 66 in the first round of the tournament held at the Serapong Course (par 71) at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore on the 3rd.

He is one stroke behind Sebastian Muñoz (Colombia), who took the lead with a 6-under par 65.

Kevin Na, who has won five times on the PGA Tour and joined LIV Golf since its launch, has yet to win at LIV Golf.

Their best result was 6th place in the Hong Kong competition last March.

Muñoz, who was runner-up at last year’s Orlando tournament in the U.S., is attempting to win his first championship since moving to LIV Golf last year.

However, Munoz or Kevin Na’s first win is not expected to be easy.

Brooks Koepka (USA), who is improving his condition ahead of defending his PGA Championship title, hit 5 under par and tied for second place.

Abraham Anser (Mexico), Thomas Pieters (Belgium), and Martin Kaymer (Germany), who won in Hong Kong, also joined the joint second place group.

Joaquin Niemann (Chile), who won twice this year, Dean Burmister (South Africa), who reached the top at the Miami Tournament, and Dustin Johnson (USA), a leading figure in LIV Golf, followed with 4 under par 67.

Defending champion Taylor Gooch (USA) tied for 16th with 3 under par 68 strokes.

Jon Lam (Spain), ranked 3rd in the world, finished the first round in a tie for 22nd place (2 under par, 69 strokes). 섯다
