Osimhen Responds to Video of Racial Discrimination Controversy: “I Love Naples”

Victor Osimhen (Nigeria), a striker for Italian professional soccer team Serie A Napoli,
took action to address the situation himself, emphasizing his still affection for his team,
which posted a video that seemed to mock him.
Osimhen said on his social media (SNS) on the 2nd (Korean time),

Previously, Napoli received backlash for posting a video that seemed to make fun of Osimhen on the club’s TikTok account.

As the controversy grew, with Osimhen’s agent considering legal action against the club and fans raising issues of racial discrimination,
Napoli deleted all club videos on the 29th and said,
“There was absolutely no intention to offend or ridicule Osimhen.
