Second official EPL captain after Park Ji-Sung
South Korean soccer icon Son Heung-min, 31, 토토사이트 will wear the captain’s armband for English professional soccer club Tottenham.
Tottenham officially announced on the club’s website on Wednesday (June 12) that it has appointed Son Heung-min as its new captain for the 2023-2024 season.
The move comes as goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is set to leave the club, and star Harry Kane has joined Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.
Son Heung-min, who has played for Tottenham since the 2015-2016 season and is entering his ninth season in the EPL, will assume the captaincy.
Son has also captained South Korea since the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He is the second South Korean player to be named an official captain in the EPL, following Park Ji-sung, who played for Queens Park Rangers (QPR) from 2012-2013.

James Maddison and Christian Romero will assist Son as vice-captains.
