Cameron Smith (AUS) maintained his lead after the second round of the Bedminster ($25 million purse), 토토 the 11th event of the LIV Golf League season.
Smith carded seven birdies, one bogey and a double bogey for a 4-under 67 in the second round of the tournament at the par-71 Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Wednesday (Sept. 13).
With a median score of 9-under-par 133, Smith held the lead for the second day.
He is four strokes back of second-place Dean Vermeester (SOU) and Phil Mickelson (USA – 5-under 137).
If Smith holds the lead into the final round, he will go ‘wire-to-wire’ to win his second title of the season, following his victory in London in July.
After a shaky start with a double bogey on the third (par-4), 안전놀이터 Smith recovered with birdies on the sixth (par-4) and eighth (par-5) to finish the first half at even par.
He birdied the 12th (par-4) and 13th (par-4) in a row before bogeying the 14th (par-3).
He then birdied the 15th (par-5) and 16th (par-3) before dropping another shot on the final 18th (par-5) to close the gap to the second-place group.
Mickelson, whose gambling scandal recently resurfaced, shaved four strokes off his second round score with five birdies and a bogey to move into second place.
Gambler Billy Walters recently made waves when he wrote in an upcoming book that Mickelson had gambled $1 billion and lost $100 million, and had even tried to bet on the Ryder Cup, in which he played.
In response, Mickelson denied betting on the Ryder Cup, saying, “I enjoy betting on the course, 스포츠토토 but it doesn’t detract from the essence of the game.”
