Kim Ha-sung recorded the 12th home run in MLB season
Kim Ha-sung of San Diego in the U.S. Major League Baseball hit his 12th home run of the season, breaking the record for the most home runs in a season.
Kim Ha-sung played as the first batter and second baseman in an away game against the Detroit Tigers and flew with three hits, two walks and two RBIs in four at-bats, including a home run.
In particular, he left five on-base hits in one game for the first time since entering the big leagues.
Kim Ha-sung hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning when he was leading 10-3, aiming for a fastball by opposing left-handed pitcher Chayson Shreve in the absence of a runner with two outs.
Kim Ha-sung, who increased the number of home runs to 12 this season, broke the record of 11 home runs in the season he recorded last year.
