Cole Palmer (Chelsea) has opened up about his playing time at Euro 2024.

“Palmer has admitted that he didn’t get enough playing time at Euro 2024,” British media outlet The Sun reported on June 16 (ET).

Born in 2002, Palmer was Chelsea’s ace in the 2023-2024 season. He scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in 33 English Premier League (EPL) games last season. In total, he has 25 goals and 15 assists in 45 games. Palmer was recognized for his performances with his club. He played for the England national team at Euro2024.

It didn’t live up to expectations. Palmer didn’t play against Serbia and Denmark. He only played 19 minutes against Slovenia in Slovenia. Palmer now prepares for the new season. With Enzo Maresca at the helm, Chelsea will open the EPL on Sept. 19 against Man City at Stamford Bridge in London, England. Palmer recently signed a new contract extension with Chelsea. He will play for Chelsea until 2033.
