Gwangju-Gangwon extend winning streak
Daejeon Hana Citizens head coach Hwang Sun-hong earned a draw in his team’s return to the K League after four years. Gwangju FC kept a clean sheet for the first time in 16 matches. Gangwon FC reclaimed the top spot for the first time this season with a whopping five-game winning streak.
The Pohang Steelers and Daejeon Hana drew 1-1 in the 17th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 at the Pohang Steel Yard on May 15.
